I know some people get used to getting great reviews, but it always makes my heart dance a little to know that I've helped to make someone's special day. Here are some of the things people have said about me as their celebrant over the last year.
Wedding ceremonies
We just wanted to share again our overwhelming thanks for everything you did for us.
For the last two or so weeks we have been inundated with friends and family saying how beautiful and unique the ceremony was, and how it was the best wedding they'd ever been to. This has been wonderful to hear and re-live, and has largely been down to you. (So much so that we have had friends come up to us saying they'd never considered marriage before, and now do!!)
But of course, getting to that post wedding joy was only enabled by your continued support beforehand, and we really cannot express how much we appreciate everything you did for us. Knowing we had a celebrant who understood us as us was comforting and very needed.
I don't think we can express how grateful we are, but we want you to know how much you meant to us on our wedding day.

We know you get this all the time but you are truly wonderful. The way you eloquently captured our love story and so effortlessly and uniquely delivered it during the ceremony was nothing short of captivating.
We cannot even recall the number of guests who told us that they were enamoured by your words and could have watched the ceremony for another forty-five minutes. This was especially amazing to hear because no one in the room had been to a wedding led by a Celebrant before and we could tell that it transformed their view of what marriage, ceremony, and tradition could mean.

Coming from Scotland I always knew I wanted a celebrant for my Derbyshire wedding this year and we were so lucky to find Claire. She helped us navigate the difficulty of having a registrar (needed for the legal bit) and celebrant there on the day.
She also gave us the most perfect, personal, funny ceremony that, most importantly, was everything we wanted for our special day. People are still talking about how great our ceremony was and that was thanks to Claire.

We had our wedding on 1st July. Claire performed our ceremony, which was heart warming, funny and very personal.
We included a reading, a handfasting, personalised vows to each other and vows to our children. Claire was on hand throughout the planning to help us with each aspect of the ceremony.
On the day the ceremony went perfectly, I didn’t realise until later that so many guests had cried throughout the ceremony.
A friend stated that the ceremony was the best she had ever been to, including her own!

My partner and I got married with Claire as our celebrant in June. She was absolutely invaluable. So many of our guests said that it was the most thoughtful, funny and personal ceremony they had ever attended and that was all thanks to Claire.
Several asked how she could possibly know us so well. It was truly incredible how well she crafted a ceremony that fit us. We laughed, we cried, and we felt really well taken care of throughout what can be a bit of daunting experience.

Claire is the most amazing celebrant!
From our first meeting she was so friendly and calming, while being totally professional. She guided us through the process (that we had no idea about) and made sure we had no concerns. She was so supportive and available to help any time. It was a great comfort to know our ceremony was in safe hands.
The script she wrote for us was perfection. The whole room was in tears (happy tears). We had so many compliments on the whole ceremony.
Claire is truly amazing at what she does. She is a really honest, caring and such a warm person. She is the exact energy you need on your big day. We got married last month with Claire as our Celebrant and she was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process - from getting to know us and our story, to writing the most beautiful ceremony script and providing such an engaging ceremony on the day that all our guests said it was the best ceremony they'd been to!
We learned things about ourselves as a couple and we actually think the process brought us even closer together in the lead up to our wedding! I know some people are wary of having a Celebrant led wedding but don't be!
Having a ceremony tailored to you is irreplaceable and it's an experience we'll never forget - thank you so much Claire for all your hard work and support! 150% recommend!!

Claire truly made our ceremony so special. Right from our first meeting she put us both a ease. Nothing was too much trouble she was so patient throughout the whole process. Claire performed our ceremony for our wedding (we got legally married last year in a covid restricted ceremony but moved our wedding with friends and family to this year). She was amazing throughout, arranged meet ups prior to the day, kept in regular contact and was just all around perfect! We all know we’re supposed to cry at weddings but wasn’t expecting to laugh so much too!! Claire was amazing as the celebrant leading the ceremony and sharing funny and touching stories about the bride and groom.
